Workforce development leaders in New Hampshire are invited to participate in this consequential listening and action-planning session, to explore how best a federal digital equity grant to NH of $5 million/year for four years, starting in 2024, can best support your efforts individually and together to enable underemployed and unemployed residents to get into and succeed in in-demand living-wage occupations in New Hampshire.

Under the Infrastructure Bill's Digital Equity Act, the USDOC is prepared to provide up to $5 million/year to NH for four years, starting in 2024, to remove digital divide barriers to economic and educational opportunity, healthcare access, civic engagement, and other important inclusion outcomes.

We need your insights and experience to ensure that NH's digital equity plan aligns with and meets your needs and those of the many you serve. Please join us to help shape New Hampshire's digital future!

NH Digital Equity Planning Team

The University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension, National Collaborative for Digital Equity, and the Metropolitan New York Library's Digital Equity Research Center have been awarded the contract to facilitate development during the remainder of 2023 of New Hampshire's state plan for digital equity. This will release $5 million/year for four years in federal grant funding to NH, starting in 2024, to carry out this plan to remove digital divide barriers to economic and educational opportunity, healthcare access, civic engagement and other important inclusion outcomes.
